Shopping Editor – Grazia UK
The focus of your role:
Grazia UK is looking to hire a new Shopping Editor. You are the right candidate if you are super-organized, have a superb eye, at least three years of professional experience working in the fashion department of a national fashion magazine, have done fashion market work, and are knowledgeable about the Grazia UK brand. The Shopping Editor, working with the style director and Deputy Editor, will manage the shopping pages by sourcing the best new products across the luxury, mid-market and high street worlds. The Shopping Editor will be able to help write captions and display copy, as well as write shopping stories and galleries for the website. Most importantly the Shopping Editor will bring a strong visual sense to the shopping pages.
- Identifying shopping trends for coverage in print, video and digital
- Handling RTW, mid-market and high street market requests and logistics
- Overseeing the flow of samples in and out of the fashion closet for shopping-related shoots
- Manage the maintenance of the internal database of lookbooks, recording shot looks
- Write sharp, fun, sharable shopping articles for graziadaily.co.uk
- Work with the fashion team to think through innovative new shopping franchises across digital, video and print
- Monitor traffic and other analytics to understand what coverage is working and adapt quickly when it isn't
- Develop a deep understanding of the Grazia readers shopping habits in an ever-changing landscape
- Represent the magazine at external events
- Represent the fashion team in social and video content
- Work closely with Grazia’s digital fashion news director and SEO and affiliate partnership teams to drive e-commerce strategies and sales based on keyword optimization, affiliate relationships, and market trends
