Senior Finance Administrator - Cash for Kids

Cash for Kids is a grant making charity that supports children and young people affected by poverty, abuse, neglect, life-limiting illness, and those who have additional needs.

Based across 22 areas in the UK, at the heart of your favourite radio stations, we are a grant-giving charity helping community groups, other charitable organisations, schools, and individual causes.

The Role

The ideal candidate for the Senior Finance Administrator role will be a good team player with accounts experience who is confident in resolving issues and possesses great attention to detail.  They will also have a polite and professional telephone manner and have a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office including Outlook and Excel and Dynamics.

Role Responsibility

  • Reconciliation of central bank account - CAF/Charities Trust/ Text/Direct Debits/Gift Aid/All ad hoc online and BACS donations
  • Reconciliation and apportionment of central overhead transfers to 23 sites
  • Download National (central) Giving is Easy and Just Giving reports, reconcile and upload to each individual charity plan and transfer funds to relevant charity bank accounts
  • Local PayPal & PayPal Give - download reports for each individual site (23); download Giving is Easy reports for each individual sites and merge prior to upload into each plan; Transfer funds from PayPal accounts into station bank accounts
  • National PayPal & PayPal Give - download reports; download Giving is Easy reports and reconcile, upload data into each station business plans and transfer funds
  • Assist with the data processing for all sites as and when needed
  • Reconciliation of Amazon Market Place for the Group
  • Raising & Resolving queries
  • Assist with month end procedures

The Ideal Candidate

  • An accountancy qualification, A Level or AAT qualified or relevant experience of accounting principles
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office including Outlook and Excel and Dynamics
  • It's imperative that you are organised and can strictly adhere to timelines and anticipate any potential hurdles.
  • You will need to excel at multi-tasking and problem-solving, and competently manage priorities
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are a must.
  • Great attention to detail, meticulously organised, with an excellent multi-tasking skillset.
  • Cheerful and positive attitude.
  • A self-starter who can plan and prioritise their time effectively.
  • Can think creatively and use initiative to find solutions
  • A team player, someone that loves to collaborate but can also be productive working alone.
  • Able to work flexibly and accurately whilst balancing competing priorities.
