Senior Email Marketing Executive

The focus of your role
The main focus of the role of Senior Email Marketing Executive is to deliver the direct marketing solus email plan.  
This will involve creating email templates, scheduling, testing and executing the emails as well as providing regular analysis and results. You will also be required to make recommendations and improvements to the emails.
You will also work to roll out the new email contact strategy with new CRMs and data considerations to help nurture the data and increase the opportunity to convert customers to subscriptions. 

Role Responsibility

As a Senior Marketing Executive, your role is a key part of our Direct Marketing Team and your key responsibilities will include;
• Effectively execute the direct marketing solus email plan
• Provide regular reporting and analysis of the solus emails performance
  • Manage and implement a testing plan for the solus emails
  • Create, update and manage the email creative templates 
  • Performance management and optimization of the email marketing channel
  • Implementation of the email contact strategy as agreed with the Group Direct Marketing Manager

The Ideal Candidate

You will have previous experience in a marketing / CRM team with good experience building and executing campaigns including A / B testing, segmentations, campaign planning and email calendar management.


You will also have;

  • Knowledge and experience of HTML
  • Previous experience of using an email service provider such as Responsys
  • Proficient in Google Analytics
  • Strong communication skills – written and spoken
  • Strong analytical skills (campaign tracking, performance monitoring, reporting, analysis)
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to work under pressure while meeting deadlines and deliver to reaching performance KPIs.
  • Work effectively to deadlines
  • Manage your upward and horizontal relationships
