Sales Operations Coordinator

Job Introduction

Sales Operations is an award winning, commercial support team for some of our biggest and best loved brands at Bauer. We are a team above anything else, and we help to work towards a common goal of delivering the best advertising and service to our clients and reduce risk to advertising revenues across print, digital and radio through best practice and adaptive internal processes.

As a Sales Operations Co-Ordinator, you will be liaising internally with several departments to ensure that all magazine advertising is planned in correctly, to the guarantees agreed at the point of booking and a best fit to the editorial content and overall brand messaging. You will also complete booking checks on our cross-platform, creative campaigns to ensure that what has been booked and agreed with our clients is reflected on the system for revenue recognition and billing.

Role Responsibility

Support our commercial advertising teams is central to everything we do. As a Sales Operations Co-Ordinator, you’ll be a key part of recognising revenue opportunities both through tactical editorial content and by helping to retain and develop our current client spend by ensuring their advertising is delivered smoothly.

You’ll be responsible for:

  • Working to ensure that all advertising revenue is protected and developed through key internal processes.
  • Building up trusting relationships with several internal teams such as Editorial, Sales, Marketing, Ad Production and Credit Control functions.
  • Knowing your magazine brands inside out so that you can spot opportunities for tactical spend.
  • Learning our internal planning and bookings systems and playing an active role in ensuring flexibility is explored in their use and development.
