Marketing Executive

Job Introduction

Our Team: 

The Consumer Event marketing team is integral in helping to create and promote unmissable in-person, large scale events for Bauer’s special interest markets.

The focus of your role: 

The Marketing Executive supports the Head of Consumer Event Marketing in executing the most influential event marketing and communication plans to our specialist communities. This is a varied role and a fantastic opportunity for a marketeer who would thrive on the opportunity to develop and create event marketing plans across all key audiences. You will assist with the marketing of 6 large scale events held in a variety of locations across the UK.

Role Responsibility

  • Supporting the Head of Consumer Event Marketing in planning, executing and evolving event marketing campaign plans.
  • Brief and oversee the creative development of promotional materials, emails, social messaging, website content and event creative to drive site visits through to ticket conversions.
  • Assist in generating new and innovative ways to reach our specialist audiences.
    Liaise with internal teams, external agencies, suppliers and freelancers.
  • Adjust marketing tactics as directed in response to results from analysis, relevant feedback and consumer research.
  • This is one of the most cross-functional roles in the company. You'll work closely with the event operations team, commercial/sponsorship sales and the wider marketing team. 

The Ideal Candidate

  • High-energy and an active approach
  • The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, have a great work ethic and a desire to learn.
  • Great organisational skills demonstrating an ability to work on multiple projects at the same time.
  • Well versed in social media platforms
  • A knowledge of PC skills, ideally within Excel, Word, Adobe Photoshop and Power Point.
  • Great teamwork skills. Work collaboratively with broader internal teams. Working in close partnership with everyone involved in the event is vital, so being a team player is a key quality.
