Digital Analyst

Job Introduction

This role is a key position within the Customer Acquisition team. They will be the eyes on the analytics for the Great Magazine site and support on insight on Bauer Media’s multiple different brands, channel performance across all aspects of campaigns and support in reporting across the board.

 

Role Responsibility

  • Management of the Ecommerce website Analytics for the Customer Marketing Team
  • Production of site insights and performance reports for the Customer Marketing Team and other relevant teams where necessary
  • Working with the channel heads to support on the development of the optimisation strategy for all marketing channel activity
  • Support on Tag Management for the Ecommerce website and all relevant channels
  • Effectively Manage the website Analytics, ensuring all traffic and KPI’s are tracked accurately
  • Maintain best practice and research new technology in order to improve our insights and analytical reporting.
  • Support the Business Analysts in reporting and forecasting against target
  • Work with the necessary teams to ensure performance is measured accurately against targets and liaise with the team members to gain valuable insights to improve channel performance
  • Provide weekly insights reports and make recommendations for channel optimisation.  Including the creation of new channel attribution reporting
  • work with our agencies to ensure all digital dashboards are updated with the latest targets
  • Use Analytics to define and implement your channel optimisation strategy, optimising the customer experience in order to sell more products and increase revenues.
  • Effectively monitor and report on your test results making recommendations to further the tests or implement the changes
  • Support the CRO Manager in order to increase overall Conversion, supporting with the CRO test plan activity roll out ensuring you are aligned
  • Work with internal teams to ensure your strategies and enhancements to analytics and tracking are implemented correctly
  • Be the go to on all things Analytical within the subscription business

The Ideal Candidate

  • Excellence in Google Analytics, Google Data Studio and Google Tag Manager
  • Maintaining Google Sheets reports so would need knowledge of the Google Analytics Add-On for Google sheets
  • Agency liaison
  • Time management
  • Communication internally and externally
  • Planning and Execution
  • Prioritisation
  • Advantageous:

  • GA4
  • App tracking
  • Knowledge of Python or other scripting languages is highly desirable
