Credit Controller

Job Introduction

Our Team

We are a team of 8 Credit Controllers working across Radio and Publishing for all direct advertisers within the Bauer Media Group with teamwork valuable across Accounts Receivable.

The Role

We are looking for a Credit Controller to work across Publishing and Radio within the Directs Credit Control team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual who is customer focused with ambition to learn, grow, and thrive within a dynamic and highly successful business.

The key responsibilities for this role are:

  • Cash collection
  • Account management
  • Query resolution
  • Interaction with the business within Publishing and the Radio stations on a day-to-day basis
  • Negotiate Payment plans
  • Managing an aged debt report
  • Conference calls/Credit Meetings
  • Working towards deadlines
  • Reconciliations

Role Responsibility

Playing a major role in ensuring our customers pay within terms and chase any overdue invoices within agreed processes. Work as a team, use initiative, decision making/prioritise in managing aged debt and working towards deadlines. Provide excellent customer services to all customers, internal and external.

You will be responsible for

  • Collection of outstanding invoices by telephone and email
  • Negotiate payment plans
  • Perform customer reconciliations
  • Respond promptly to queries from internal and external customers, ensuring queries are logged and escalated as appropriate
  • Manage regular meetings/conference calls with business regarding queries and aging accounts.
