CRM Retention and Loyalty Manager

Job Introduction

The Digital Audio team is a central team supporting all 8 countries and their brands. It is at the heart of the Bauer Media Group’s future strategy for audio. It’s a team of experts in product and tech, innovation, insight, product design, customer success and digital marketing.

This role is responsible for helping engage and retain digital listeners via digital channels. The main focus is planning and managing CRM campaigns for Audio brand teams via digital channels (primarily email), sharing results and insights with stakeholders. The role will work with brand marketing and digital content teams to understand objectives, prioritise campaigns, oversee creative/content, schedule campaigns, analyse and share results.

The role is responsible for growing the volume of logged in listeners and logged in listening hours. The role is responsible for improving how we use our listener data and our own channels (email and push notifications) more effectively for all brands.

Role Responsibility

Engaging and retaining our digital audience are vital to the future of Bauer Media Group. The CRM Retention and Loyalty Manager’s role is to improve significantly how we reach and manage our digital listeners with data/insight driven triggers and campaigns that build stronger relationships and retain listeners for longer. The role’s objectives are:  

  • To define and implement a new engagement and CRM strategy for UK brands via email and push
  • To build new processes and strategy to support all brands
  • To maximise use of behavioural data to drive retention
  • To share and apply learnings from one brand to another
  • To manage campaign strategy and frequency with all stakeholders (content, social, insights, marketing, commercial)
  • To manage the building, approval, testing and scheduling of all campaigns via CRM channels
  • To manage campaign reporting
  • To raise creative standards across digital channels

The Ideal Candidate

  • Energy, enthusiasm and great collaborative working skills
  • Appetite to make an impact and demonstrate results
  • Ability to blend art/creativity with science/data
  • CRM experience with evidence of success from previous campaigns and results
  • Advanced CRM campaign skills with proven experience in personalisation, localisation, dynamic content and using behavioural triggers to drive engagement and listening.
  • Deep experience of CRM tools (ideally Responsys) – with proven expertise and examples of the tools they have used before and how they have got the best from them
  • Good analytical skills with examples of how they have derived insights to refine strategy and deliver results.
  • Stakeholder management skills with examples of the diverse stakeholders and competing interests you have managed successfully
  • Communication skills with examples of how you have shared results, insights or ideas
