Automated Test Engineer

Our team is responsible for bringing our award-winning portfolio of radio stations to life online. 

We look after our radio station websites, apps, smart speakers and all of the technology that powers them.

We are a small but incredibly focussed team.  We work very closely with our product owners, in an agile manner, ensuring that we are always delivering high quality products to our users.

The focus of your role

The Automated Test Engineer will be responsible for implementing a QA automation framework and developing comprehensive automated tests across the Audio Services Platforms. 

Role Responsibility

You will be responsible for implementing a QA automation framework and developing comprehensive automated tests across the Audio Services Platforms.

You will work closely with Software Engineers and Product Owners to deliver the highest quality and reliable products in a timely and efficient manner.

This is a great opportunity to own QA within a growing development team who are developing exciting platforms and products across Web, App and Voice Platforms.

What you'll be responsible for

  • Selecting and implementing the QA automation framework
  • Maintaining and developing automated tests across platforms
  • Creating automated QA + regression tests
  • Working with internal and external development teams

The Ideal Candidate

  • A team player with a desire to learn more
  • You like a challenge and are willing to take responsibility
  • Familiarity with the software development lifecycle, testing methodologies and tools
  • Experience of test case generation, test data design and test methodologies
  • Excellent observation skills and high attention to detail
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines
