Account Manager MFR
You will work closely with your colleagues both at MFR and within the wider Bauer group. The main focus of the role is to cover the Moray/Aberdeenshire area, looking after existing clients with their Radio and wider product (for example, Digital) campaigns. Looking for new business opportunities and attending networking events is also important. Recording activity on our CRM system is essential. The successful candidate will have proven sales experience. Full product knowledge will be given.
Helping and supporting each other is extremely important to our team. There is a wealth of Radio and wider product knowledge within the team and we are very much looking forward to sharing that with the right candidate and getting them up to speed with all the help, support and encouragement they need.
Our advertising clients are absolutely central to everything we do. As an Account Manager, you’ll be a key part of developing our business, both by attracting and winning new clients, and by developing our existing client portfolio. You’ll be responsible for:
- Working with clients in the Moray and Aberdeenshire area
- Building up trusting relationships with our clients
- Knowing your clients inside out so that you can spot opportunities for development
- Spot new business opportunities
- Working closely with colleagues both at MFR and within the wider Bauer group
- Recording all activity on our CRM system

This is a permanent, full-time role, 37.5 hours per week, and we are keen to promote a flexible and agile working pattern. While the radio station is in Inverness, and we feel face to face time with your colleagues is important, working partly from home is also an option. The sales area to be covered is Moray/Aberdeenshire, so a candidate from that area and with good business knowledge of that area would be advantageous.
